Lehman's sells over a dozen mills, ranging from around $45 to over $1000. They vary in speed, durability, versatility, ease of use, and fineness of grind. With so many options, choosing a mill can be a daunting task. Each mill has its strengths and weaknesses; the key to selecting one is choosing the one that best meets your individual needs. Our Mill Selector system will help you determine this. Please answer the below questions and our computer program will make mill recommendations based on the information you supply.

1. How many people will be eating the foods that you grind?

2. What materials would you like to grind? (Check as many as apply.)
Dry grains (wheat, rye, spelt, barley, etc.)
         Corn
         Seeds (sesame, sunflower, etc.)
         Nuts
         Beans and Legumes
         Coffee
         Spices

3. What food do you want to produce? (Check as many as apply.)
         Powder-fine flour (similar to store-bought)
         Coarse flour or meal
Animal feed or cracked grain (very coarse)
         Flattened flakes for cereal

4. How strong is the person who will be doing the grinding (arm strength)?

5. Would you like a hand-turned or electric mill, or are you open to getting either one? (Note: An electric mill will not work if there is no electricity.)
